What is the best and safest place to setup an email account for my 14 year old teenager?

Is it illegal to open another person’s email without their permission?

This topic came up in a message board to which I subscribe. A woman got into an argument with her bf over a site that was saved on his computer Favorites, she signed into his email account using ‘his usual ID and password” and read some suspicious emails. She feels her search is legitmate since he at some point had shared his ID and password and since in her words “If he has nothing to hide then he has nothing to worry about”. I know if she were to open a written letter addressed to him without his permission, it’s a felony. What about this instance - Is it illegal to open another person’s email without their expressed permission?

Do I have to respond to unsolicited emails?

I work in marketing and am bombarded with emails offering venues, marketing and promotional items and various other arb services. I did not ask these people to contact me, but understand and appreciate that they are only trying to market themselves. Replying takes up my time and email resources. What should I do?

We are a subscription based publication. We send copyrighted e-mails and the receipient are prohibited to forward these e-mails. But they forward them anyway. How can we keep track of the forwarding activity so we know how much our e-mails are spread beyond the people we send them to?
